Is laser hair removal permanent?

How do I prepare for my laser hair removal treatment session?
The area to be treated should be clean and smoothly shaved. Do not apply topical sun screens to the area prior to treatment. Avoid tweezing, waxing or the use of topical depilatories for four weeks prior to your treatment. Once you have begun your treatment series, you should not tweeze, wax or use topical depilatories. You should also avoid significant sun exposure for several weeks prior to your treatment.
Will I get effective results if I have tanned or dark skin?
Lighter skin with dark, coarse hair follicles will yield the best results. It is more difficult to obtain optimal results when the skin is tanned and If you have very fine hair follicles. The Comet Laser used at The Lifestyle Center is capable of treating both tanned and dark skin safely and effectively. How do I get started?
You begin by scheduling your free consultation. We will explain, in more detail, how the laser works, what to expect during and after the treatment, and answer any questions you may have. We are able to perform the treatments the same day if scheduled in advance. Otherwise, we are able to treat most clients within a few days.
